" Becs is, without doubt, one of the most inspiring and engaging leaders I have had the pleasure to work for in my career. A natural coach, with an incredible talent for posing the right questions, at the right time, to take conversations and understanding to a whole new level. "

About me - the professional stuff

I am a highly experienced Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant. Prior to establishing Inca Coaching I spent 20 years in the corporate sector, working for well-known global brands including Costa Coffee and Jaguar Landrover, predominantly in senior HR leadership roles leading global learning & talent functions, as well as coaching leaders for future succession. I have a breadth of international experience, working with both smaller independents and large PLCs, across a number of industries spanning medical, automotive, retail, hospitality, food manufacturing, utilities and financial services. This breadth of experience brings versatility to my thinking and flexibility in my approach, which I draw on when working with my clients.
I work at a deep level with my clients, getting to the core of their challenges and providing both the support and challenge needed to create meaningful and lasting change. I am also highly pragmatic in my approach, grounding everything I do in the science of human behaviour and ensuring that solutions and tools can be easily adopted and embedded. I'm known for my openness, warmth and positivity, which enable my clients to feel supported, positively stretched and inspired.

About me - the personal stuff
As you can probably tell, I genuinely love what I do. So, while this is my work, I also consider it my ‘play’.
Aside from coaching, I cherish spending time with the special people in my life. Living in the Cotswolds, I’m fortunate to have stunning countryside on my doorstep, so I can often be found walking across the hills with my partner and our Golden Retriever. Time spent soaking in the views or sitting beside the river and watching it gently meander down-stream, always helps to keep my tank full (that and chocolate!)
I love to travel, seeing some of the wonders of the world and meeting fascinating people along the way. My favourite place is Machu Picchu in Peru. It’s an awe-inspiring example of the beauty of nature, coupled with the brilliance of human beings - the Inca civilisation. It also inspired my choice of business name!

Why I do what I do
Because I'm passionate about creating inclusive and empowering organisational cultures, and helping leaders and their teams to thrive, so that they can elevate their impact and enjoy success.

Because I know the power of great leadership and the profound impact it has, not only on organisational performance, but on the lives of the people they lead.
Because in my career as an HR leader and a coach, I have all too often worked with people who are capable of so much more but are holding themselves back because they are fearful of failure.
Because I've experienced crippling self-doubt and that nagging voice in my head telling me “You're not good enough”… and I’ve experienced the sense of empowerment and possibility that comes from letting go of those thoughts and believing in myself.
Because I experienced multiple leadership transitions during my corporate career and know the profoundly positive impact that coaching has had on me and my success.
